WHAT CAN NEXUM DO FOR A VULNERABLE ADULT AND THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HELP HIM/HER?

Nexum helps the vulnerable adult by:

● keeping the adult from being financially liable and protecting the adult’s assets following monetary undertakings taken while being vulnerable or beforehand (for example during a solicitation or business transaction taken at home or on the phone). All this is possible as soon as a decision is rendered by court.

● addressing the need to designate a tutor or curator in charge of:

- the care for the vulnerable adult
- the managing and investing of assets and property
- representing him in court in case of litigation or being summoned (with or without attorney)

● making the vulnerable adult’s status and condition known towards government, hospital and banking officials

● finding a group of three people from among the adult’s family and friends who will assist and supervise the acts of the representative, thus possibly obviating the need to go through the court for this aspect of the process
